A story rooted in Tulsa

Tulsa is the game board.

Tulsa’s stretch of Route 66 is the setting for a mystery built around a weathered treasure map bearing Cyrus Avery’s name. The adventure follows East 11th Street and places along the Mother Road, inviting players to look closely, solve clues, and discover the stories connected to their surroundings. The map and hidden-treasure legend are fictional; the city is your game board.

Check each adventure page for its current availability, estimated duration, distance, travel mode, and accessibility information. Bring a charged phone with mobile data and location services. Plan for daylight or good visibility and suitable weather, supervise children, and follow posted access rules and closures. Never use the experience while driving; park safely before reading or solving clues. Route 66 is coming soon—join its notification list to hear when it launches.

Frequently asked questions

Plan an adventure in Tulsa

What is Solve Your City?

Solve Your City creates story-driven outdoor adventures. Your group explores real places, follows the story, and works together to solve clues. Some adventures include Finder Mode to find hidden augmented-reality objects through your phone’s camera.

What kind of adventure is this?

It is a story-driven outdoor adventure where your group works together to solve clues across real locations in the city.

Do we need to download an app?

No. The current experience plays in a supported mobile browser. You will need mobile data and location permission. Some adventures also use Finder Mode and require camera permission.

How many phones do we need?

One phone can lead a group, or everyone can open the same private play link on their own phone. When an adventure offers team play, each person uses that link and chooses from up to six teams before joining.

Is the adventure walking or driving?

It depends on the adventure. Each detail page identifies its travel format when that information has been confirmed.

How long does it take?

Durations are estimates. There is no countdown or failure for taking longer, so your group can move at its own pace.

Can children play?

Clue difficulty varies. Adults and guardians should choose an appropriate adventure, supervise minors, and make all safety decisions.

When can we start?

After creating an adventure and receiving your private link, your group can begin on its own schedule unless the adventure page lists daylight, access, or availability guidance.

What happens if we get stuck?

Adventures can include up to three progressively more helpful hints for each clue. The detail page shows whether hints are available throughout that adventure.

Is the game private?

Your adventure creates an unlisted private play link. Adventures that offer team play can keep separate progress for up to six teams. Anyone with the valid link may be able to join, so share it only with intended players.

What do we need?

Bring a charged phone with mobile data, location permission, suitable clothing and footwear, and awareness of your surroundings. Camera permission is needed for adventures that include Finder Mode.
